Meet Doc Ann

Dr. Jennifer Ann Lentini was born and raised in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.  She studied Psychology at Furman University.  As an undergraduate she worked as an EMT on an ambulance and later as a Residence Counselor at a children’s psychiatric hospital.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree.

Subsequently she did research at the Behavioral Neuroscience Laboratory and was coauthor of several papers on neurotransmitters, pain pathways, and animal behavior.

She was accepted to medical school in Charleston, SC and graduated with an M.D.  She then completed an internship and two years of training in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Lentini decided to branch out of traditional medicine and practice preventative health and wellness consultation after encountering the frustrations of ineffective and expensive health care.  She hopes that in doing this, more people can avoid the pitfalls of “life-style” diseases that result in numerous hospitalizations, can experience the benefits of a healthy and mentally well mind and body, and can attain increased not only quantity but also quality of life.

Dr. Lentini enjoys rollerblading, skiing, reading, writing, horseback riding, motorcycling and ballroom dance.  She lives and works in Ohio (soon in South Carolina though) with her husband, two bunnies, two canaries, and a goldfish.
